Opening hospital resources, connecting clinical ideas with industry technology.

Run by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and KHIDI, the Open Innovation Lab Program links clinicians’ ideas with startups’ technology, supporting company growth and unmet clinical needs. Dongguk University Ilsan Hospital has operated an Open Innovation Lab since 2019, and became the program’s lead institution in 2025, building a collaborative ecosystem between clinicians and industry.
